The A.G.G.M.A. storyPosted in Uncategorized on November 02, 2009 by Buckshot . The Story about A.G.G.M.A This is my first blog here on A.G.G.M.A. and I would like to tell the story behind A.G.G.M.A. The original idea behind A.G.G.M.A. was to start a Shop for just as the acronym says, Advanced Guns and Gear for MilSim and Airsoft. However as time went by I decided to scrap that prodject since the net is totally overwhelmed with sites selling stuff. Just about the same time I started to write reviews and articles for Popular Airsoft Magazine and that made my decision evn stronger to scrap the whole project. After a while I got a new job and initially it would take all of my time so I then decided to stop writing. Then One evening when i was looking at some Airsoft sites i found the news that WE were about to get into GBB rifles with a brand new concept. They had developed a totally new system nothing like the Western Arms system I knew had quite some issues. I instantly decided to order one as soon as they were released. When I finally got it in my hands I was amazed. This was what I had been dreaming about ever since my first Airsoft gun. Then the Idea popped up in my head to start the A.G.G.M.A. project up again. Now the "G" for Guns in the acronym was finally there. WE is a truly Advanced gun for milsim and airsoft, even professional training. So then I started A.G.G.M.A. 1.0. A WE dedicated forum powered by SMF Forum Engine. It was a good beginnign but it did not have the features I would like to give the site. So after about 6 months i began to think about making A.G.G.M.A. 2.0 powered by some of the CMS systems available, My Choise fell on Joomla. Joomla is great and it has a massive amount of addons and plugins. The site you are looking at now is the result of about a month of work. Well not full time since I have a regular job as a sales manager for a multi national engineering company. So I really hope you will enjoy the site. /Buckshot |
